W.R. Coffel is currently working in Delightful Fields, Brooklyn doing large format Giclee Printmaking, Scultpures, Box-Collages and visual manuscripts. "My Art pieces are metaphorically Parisian 1920 rayographs, made by placing three-dimensional objects or series of objects on top of a piece of photo-satin paper and exposing it to my visions."

 

The founder and curator of The X-Readings, a private venue series of mixed-media literary events. Offering alternatives in cultural creativity and _expression for prose and poetry writers, artists and musicians desiring a longer time format to showcase their works. A recent 2003 Tribute to Allen Ginsberg, Object:ALLEN 6th Year Remembrance Reading was the third in the series.

 

His first novel, Essential Parts, ..."a groundbreaking erotic joyride through taboo territories"... was published in April 2003 by Six Slope Gallery in a hardbound limited first edition. A second novel, gothic science fiction adventure, will be published by Six Slope Gallery later this year.
